Midnight was created by an organisation rather than born to a family. This Organisation called themselves the Kytees. Unknown in many circles the Kytean order deems to stay that way, keeping their secrets, goals and projects to themselves all the while attempting to gather new technology, or liberate it from people who they believe are not ready for it just yet. All in all they are a neutral faction, dedicated to preserving the 'balance' of life, supporting both sides of good and evil when they felt the need. In their persuit of technology and power they started the Dusk to Dawn (DtD) programme, deciding to make themselves a construct capable of creating new tech and dismanteling old tech while learning all its abilities, and a being of great mental power. The project started off with Dusk, while his very existance was a feat of engeneering even for the Kytean order he was a failure, lacking anything more than the normal ammount of intelligence, perhaps even less so. The second product of the DtD project was Edoxin, she had the wits about her and was generally rather smart but lacked any beyond-normal mental ability. Runing out of resources and time the team tasked with the project decided to work with what the had, creating a third with similar DNA of the other two, the product of the mixture they called Midnight. Midnight, now being a completed construct was quickly put through tests to study his mental capabilities. still being an early stage project there were some hiccups in the design but the Kytean order decided that they had finally succeeded in their creation Midnight on the other hand, had other ideas. Despite their inability to see each other Midnight had known of his siblings and had often communicated with them telepathicly or through short intervals in dreams and such. Despite their flaws Midnight had come to like them both and regarded them as something physical to hold on to in his unsure existance.
When he discovered that the order was going to destroy them however, midnight started to set in motion a series of events that would eventually lead to the escape of al three siblings. Not able to do this on his own however Midnight saught the help of another, namely Lucanor. How the two had met and how they had co-ordinated the plan is unknown to all but them.
Once the escape was staged the siblings decided it best not to be seen around each other in order to throw the Order off their tracks. Midnight decided to stay with Lucanor, having shown his mental prowess during the escape it was decided to give him a chance. Needless to say he impressed with his uncanny ability to take a complete unknown technical do-dad and learn its ins and outs faster than would normally be possible. After a time Midnight decided to undergo the process himself, bolstering his telepathic abilities as well as other traits the Order had attempted to give him. It was soon after this that Midnight, now known as Zero, too it upon himself to edit his own making, adding inplants and augmentations as he saw fit, most of which now help preserve his life after undergoing the process. Unfortunately due to this fact he needs to continuously update himself in order to survive.
