His fur cloak kept the hunter safe from the cold winds of the north, Still the chill made him long for the comfort of an open fire. A longing that he would soon quench as soon as he found something to cook over it. He had been tracking the buck since midday and night would soon be upon him giving him a sense of urgency. The wind blew down on him hard, the sight of smoke rising in the distance made him lower his bow, A settlement was near, He would not have to hunt this night, The hunter always made sure that he kept enough coin on his person to ensure that he had enough to purchase whatever he needed. The life of an imperial scout did not pay much, but what he found in caves and hideaways and ancient tombs more than made up for his meager earnings.

A blonde haired elf in light leather armor croughed down to the ground and traced his fingers in the dirt along the main road, tracing his fingers over a set of footprints that by the looks of things hadn't been made too long ago. The elf let out a sigh and cast his emerald green eyes skyward before letting off a small shivver, shaking his head, looking down and getting to his feet again. "Its going to be a cold one tonight..." He muttered to himself as he hooked his one hand under the belt across his chest that kept his daggers in place. He blinked and let out a sigh, watching for a silent moment as his breath fogged up the air in front of him before the wind whipped the smoky breath away. He shook his shoulders, shuddering for a moment to send a small wave of warmth through his body before he set his eyes on the road. "Best get moving.... Not like we're going to get anywhere important by nightfall."
"ITS A DRAGON!" Yelled a shrill voice from behind him, enough to make him jump slightly. He quickly let out a breath and regained his composure before he whirled round and placed his hands on his hips, giving a certain dark elf behind him a deathly glare. "Thats..... a ... sodding.... LIZARD!" He yelled.
The dark elf who was crouched over a rock with a petrified Lizard on it seemed to shrink back a little. "But.. but..."
The other placed his hands to his temples in an exaggerated manner. "theres no such thing as dragons, the hell do i keep telling you anyway?! THAT is a lizard. LIZARD! you can't even EAT them! theyre small, scaley and loose their sodding tails if you pull them!" As the elf continued his rant, the other continued to shrink back a little before she started pointing at the other. "B-but.... S-s-"
"GAAHG!! SHUT UP!" He yelled before feeling a short and powerful warm wind behind him. He spun round, expecting to see a large horse "AND thE HELL DO YOU WA-.......... oh shit......" The elf let out a nervious little chuckle and made a very small waving motion as he stared down the maw of a giant black dragon.
"Told you!" The dark elf exclaimed happily before skipping over to stand next to her frozen companion.

Tanis made his way to the town with the hopes of warm food, cold drink, and a comfy bed waiting for him till he spotted a dragon flying past him. "Not my problem." He said to himself. "You don't need this today, You can let this one go, It's not bothering anyone or anything, Just walk away niiice and slo-" His words were interrupted as a large body of smelly liquid crashed down around him, The Dragons urine soaked him to the bone leaving his nostrils burning and eyes watering, despite this a large maniacal grin spread across the hunters face. "I'm gonna take the skin fro it's ass and make myself a hat with it." He said happily before drawing his bow and walking off after it.

The black dragon stared down at the two before it opned its giant maw, shouting in its own language and bringing forth a wave of fire down from its mouth. The blonde elf quickly rolled to the side to avoid it, whilst the other.... Merely stood in her place, letting off a little cough as she dusted herself off before looking up at the dragon with a stupid grin "thanks! Was getting kinda chilly!"
"Damn dunmer fire resistance....." Cursed the other before he decided to do something stupid and actually go for the dragon. He jumped up onto the beast and drove his blades into its skull before holding on to them for dear life as the dragon began to thrash this way and that in an attempt to throw off its attacker.
"LITTLE HELP HERE?!" He yelled above the dragons screams. His cry for help would fall upon deaf ears however as his dark elf companion had picked up a random rock and was examining the now charred lizard on it.
