It was cold, raining, and dark. Not a good combination. The task was simple. Go in, Clear the church of the ghouls that plagued it. Doing so without causing any damage to the church however was not. Ranek sat outside the church waiting to hear any sound of the ghouls. Supposibly there were only five of them inside. Though with Ghouls you never could tell. Because of that he had enlisted the aid of another Witcher. An Elf known as Abite. She was still young though so he didn't have much faith in her. He had her stand guard at the other exit. Hoping that she'd be able to handle herself if any tried to escape. Not even an hour later her heard the familer sounds of the growning of the dead. He pulled out his silver sword and slowly opened the church doors. "Alrighty then.... Game time." He quietly walked inside keeping low to ground until they came into view. There were seven of them. Ranek smirked. That meant that he could charge extra. He stayed hidden and watched. Waiting to see if anymore showed up.

Re: The Witchers
Abite let out as a sigh as she let herself at ease for a moment, allowing for her glowing markings to fade away until they were barely noticable. She picked up the sound of the front doors being opned. "And so it begins..." With that she shifted to the side and drew her own silver blade and crouched into shadow.... the raindropps falling from the curves of her face and onto the hilt of her sword. She crouched like a hunter awaiting its prey, silently waiting until the oppertunity of attack showed itself. she let out a silent sigh... it had only been about three years ago that Kaku had left them and she still felt slightly unsure of her own abilities.
Habu lent up against the wall of a building on the very edge of the town, right on the opposite side to where the battle was about to be fought. he looked up into the rain, some of the waterdroplets hissed slightly as they ran over the luminecant markings on his body. his hand rested on the hilt of his blade as he stared up at the sky. It was always hard to see what he was thinking about, or what emotions it brought him as his face remained plain as if it were set in stone. He had become so much like Kaku it was a rather frightening thought. a small child stared up at him unblinkingly while holding its stuffed animal close to its chest. Habu looked down at the child and shook his head before silently walking off to find another location for him to be alone with his thoughts. The child stood rooted to the spot and stared at the glowing man as he walked away.

Re: The Witchers
Ranek had watched long enough. There were only seven. He could take out one with his gun and another with huis knife that had been coated in a poisen that would cause paralysis. The others he'd have to handle the old fashion way. He pulled out his potions pack and set it out in front of him. He considered drinking the Humming bird potion which would allow him to move at incredible speed as well as see the world as though it was barely moving. Though the side affect was that he would need atleast three days rest after using it as well as risking a heart attack during the use. He sighed and put the potion pack back into his bag. He didn't need a potion anyways. He pulled his pistol out of it's holster with his left hand and picked up his silver sword with his right. He got up and walked down the aisle. As one of the ghoals turned and looked at him he aimed his pistole at it's head and squeezed the trigger. The silver coiated bullet flew out and tore through the undead beasts skull. Ranek then holstered the gun and held his silver sword in a two handed grip and charged at the ghouls with a yell.

Re: The Witchers
Abite heard the slight sound of material brushing against the metal of the gun as Ranek took it from its holster before he shot it into the ghouls head. She let out a sigh but stopped as she saw one whip its head round to look at the exit as the others body fell to the ground. It opned its mouth to let out a grizly moan before making its way to the back, slipping through the others. Abite moved backwards slightly and held her blade at the ready.
A few moments passed before it stepped out from the doorway. Before it could even make its way to thestepps Abite lashed out at its leggs, making it fall to the ground with a dull thud. Whatever it was thinking, its thought diddnt last long before Abite removed its head with a quick sweeping swipe with the silver blade.
